ZIPSON offer not only common material such as CF8M, WCB, CF8, CF3M in ASME standard, or 1.4408, 1.4308, 1.0619 in EN standard, or SCS14, SCS13, SCS16 in JIS standard. But also the special alloy valves for your particular application. Zipson offer the extraordinary materials both in valve field and other investment casting parts according to your drawings & requirements.
We focus the valve with special alloy in certain items and stock them in house. They are 2-pc flange ball valve, 207F type. 3-pc, 2000 psi, higher performance, 305D type, and 3-pc, 1000 psi, 302F type. And some in 110F/ 110T top-entry valve and 501F, 3-way flange ball valves. These ready-for-assemble valve parts will support our customers to meet their urgent requirement and have the valves in site as early as possible.
The materials Zipson usually stock are Duplex series, CE3MN (Super Duplex, 5A, 2507) & CD3MN (Duplex, 4A, 2205) and Ni base materials, CW12MW (Hastelloy C), CX2MW (Hastelloy C-22), CN7M (Alloy 20). And CK3MCuN (254 SMO) for desalination skid and facility; Inconel 620, CX2M (Allo 59). Zipson can also supplier the Titanium valves in ASTM G2 material for special working situation, such as high corrosion media.
Super Duplex ball valve (A890 Gr.5A) were very common for sea water application or desalination facility, mining industries (mining valves). The Super Duplex 5A valves also been used a lot in palm oil refinery. Hastelloy C276 often used in the media with Chloride or Chlorine. Duplex & Super Duplex valves are very popular in desalination plants.
CX2MW, the Hastelloy C22 (also called New Hastelloy C) valves are popular used in pharmaceutical industries for very critical media.
Zipson foundry is also very happy to support our customers with special alloy casting parts when needed according to customers’drawings and inspection requirement.
For some phama equipment, ask Low Ferrite content (3% or 1%), Zipson will offer less then 1% castings for these special pharmaceutical industries. The Ferrite content will be measured by feritscope for each crucible.
Customers may require some test for the special material. Zipson will help to held the test in third party with required certificate to make sure all the alloys are totally with the standard. The test may have the followings,
Corrosion Testing (ASTM G48) in 72 hours (or 24 hours as required) with 4*4 cm to 10*10 cm test plate.
Micrographic Examination, offering 100 times & 500 times picture per test plate.
PMI (Positive material identification). Zipson use advanced spectrum analysis system to test the exact composition of all crucible of steel compositions. In order to make sure all the investment casting parts will correspond with customers’ requirements.
Zipson valve stock most of the special alloy castings in house. For the parts in house, the lead-time of alloy ball valve is around 15-25 days after order confirmation. As for inquiries without castings, it will take 70-80 days for production.
Duplex valve is popular used for low pressure and low temperature sea water.

The wonderful corrosion resistance alloy. Hastelloy C valve has excellent ability to resist strong oxidizers such as ferric and cupric chlorides, chlorine. The material is also a good choice for most of the corrosive problem.
Hastelloy C22 is very similar to Hastelloy C276, some called New Hastelloy C. This material was popular in pharmaceutical industries and in chemical processing, pollution control, waste water, etc. Hastelloy C22 is better than C276 when used in saturated wet Chlorine condition.
Alloy 20 is very popular used in sulfuric acid & aerospace cryogenic fuel tanks with low density and exhibits high strength.
The nickel content alloy with high strength with excellent corrosion resistance for media including sea water, sulfuric acid, alkali media.
254 SMO (1.4547/ UNS S31254/ A182 F44), is designed to resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. And offers Chloride resistance superior to that of Alloy 904L, Alloy 20, Alloy 825. 254 SMO valve is very popular used in desalination skid or equipment.
Titanium (ASTM Grade 2) is light, and with excellent corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing to mildly reducing environment, including Chlorides. Ti has good impact properties at low temperature, it can be used at both cold and hot works.
Alloy 625 is one of Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum alloy. It is with high strength and excellent wide range of corrosive resistance, especially to pitting and crevice corrosion.
Alloy 59 is one type of Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum alloy. It is noted for the resistance of wide range of corrosive media and environments, both for oxidizing and reducing.
